Set into the picturesque hillside at Cliff Farm, this unique underground pod offers you a truly memorable vacation. This spacious 2 bedroom pod will sleep up to six guests with a sofa bed.

Located in the heart of Ryedale, Pheasant's Roost gives you the option of staying in and enjoying the beautiful scenery and wildlife that lie within the vicinity or venturing out and about to discover the many attractions of the area.   Three miles down the road lies the market town of Pickering. From here you can jump aboard the North Yorkshire Moors Railway and be sent on a glorious ride through the moors and onto the notable town of Whitby. Castle Howard is close to hand offering a family friendly day out. The historic city of York is approximately 30 miles away and offers many attractions for all ages.  For those who love to be beside the seaside, Scarborough is 25 miles away. We have a fantastic coastline close to hand and many beaches and hideaways can be found.

This underground pod is ideal for a group of friends or a large family.  The open plan living and kitchen provides ample space for a get together. The views through the door are some of the best that Yorkshire has on offer. You can sit back from the comfort of the sofa or chill with a glass of wine on the patio and watch the sunset over the rolling hills of Ryedale. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge (inc. ice compartment), oven and hob. The breakfast bar is ideal for talking with friends and family whilst preparing the food for the festivities ahead.

The two generous bedrooms consist of a king sized bed and ample storage. Both rooms have a modern en-suite with shower, toilet and wash basin. The port hole windows direct your gaze onto the wandering Howardian and Hambleton hills.

On an evening you can sink into the relaxing hot tub and gaze up into the night sky and watch the stars twinkle. If you are lucky a shooting star may be seen!
